Two classics in a new material guise

The new ESD triflex product range for dress packs includes two new systems for maximum flexibility when equipping industrial robots. Customers have been using both basic systems successfully for over 15 years. The standard RS retraction system and the fibre rod system are based on the same retraction system – Internal fibreglass rods. These rods are completely enclosed by the dissipative triflex® R energy chain, so that any tensions that may occur can be dissipated directly.

Special finishes and form-fit connections complete the range and ensure maximum safety in the ESD environment.

Additional stability

The radius protector on the TRCF.65.100.0 provides extra protection against kinking. The use of the protector increases the radius from 100mm to 200mm. This means that the process fibre, which is mainly used in laser welding and is also the most expensive cable, is optimally protected for maximum product service life.

The triflex R heavy-duty energy chain is characterised in particular by its high breaking force, robust design, conveyability and the large, cable-friendly interior. When developing the TRHD.142.300.0, emphasis was placed on high stability and good, safe handling of the e-chain, especially for applications in the shore power sector. In addition, the internal stop-dog system means there is no risk of crushing when carrying the e-chain. Furthermore, the small ventilation holes ensure that heat, caused by the cables warming up, is dissipated.

This energy chain was specially developed for the e-dispenser. Now you can also protect cables and hoses on the SCARA robot in ESD environments. The dimensions of the ESD version are identical to the standard SCARA Cable Solution.

All components are certified, electrostatically dissipative and ensure that the rapid movements on the SCARA robot do not generate electronic voltage and damage components such as circuit boards or chips.
