iglidur® GV0 is the first iglidur® material with V0 rating according to UL94 for universal use in the normal temperature range. It is predestined for applications with high fire protection requirements (vehicle interior, aviation, building services, etc.). All other iglidur® materials with V0 rating are part of the high-temperature segment. The general mechanical and thermal specifications are largely comparable with the all-rounder iglidur® G.

Tolerances and measuring system
The installation dimensions and tolerances of the iglidur® bearings depend on the material and wall thickness. With the material, the moisture absorption and the thermal expansion are decisive. Bearings with low moisture absorption can be installed with a small bearing clearance. The following applies to the wall thickness: The thicker the bearing, the greater the bearing clearance must be.
Test procedure

Installation
iglidur® bearings are press-fit bearings. The inner diameter is only set after pressing into the housing bore with the corresponding tolerance. The press-fit interference can be up to 2% of the inner diameter. This ensures a secure press-fit of the bearings. Axial or radial displacements in the housing are thus reliably avoided.
