A mountain bike with double spring system: The joint connection between the bicycle arm and framework is problematic because of high material wear. Conventional metal bearings could not be used due to the little available space. Plain bearings made of iglidur® W300 are optimal for this special application: They can be installed at places with little available space, and are lubrication- and maintenance-free. Low friction allows perfect movement of the joint and absorbs vibrations at the same time.
