The requirement was a gripper shovel for wheel loaders – 0.6 – 1.0 m³. The bearing, which is responsible for the opening of the shovel, is especially loaded. Mechanical resistance and high maintenance intervals, plus manufacturing tolerances, are some basic parameters. Products from igus® satisfied these requirements.
